The Eureka Heritage Society's
Publications

The Eureka Heritage Society used to publish two periodicals. Sadly, Architectural Legacy, edited by Kathy Dillon and a great resource to the historic presevation community is no longer being published. We have here on the website an archive of past issues of Architectural Legacy.
The Heritage Herald
, now edited by Janet Warren, continues to be issued quarterly and a printed copy
is sent out free of charge, to all members.
Membership has its privileges.
Below it is possible to download and view a PDF version of all available issues.

Additional printed copies of past issues may be obtained.
Please call - (707) 445-8775

green book The Green Book
In addition to the periodicals,
the Society also published, in 1987,
the outstanding document,
"Eureka, An Architectural View".

Known as The Green Book, it contains photographs of 1200 homes and is considered one of the finest collection of details on historic homes ever published.
A limited number of these books still exist and can be purchased directly from The Eureka Heritage Society.
For a more detailed description of the Green Book and ordering information, please click here.

The Eureka Heritage Society Periodicals:
Below, and to the sides, are all the issues of Eureka Heritage Society publications currently on the website.
Clicking on a thumbnail image of whichever issue you are looking for will download and open a separate PDF file of that publication. There may be a slight delay as the file is being downloaded to your computer.
Sadly, the issue of Architectural Legacy which appears below, is the last issue of that wonderful publication. All of the work (research, writing, editorial) on that project was done by Kathy Dillon
and it is a very much missed resource.
